The mystery of the universe!! Time
Time is the biggest mystery of this universe. What exactly is time? What is between two events is time. The sun was still on the horizon and now it is about to set. What has passed in these two events is time. You are still young, you will be old soon. What lies between your youth and old age is actually time. The universe just came into existence from the Big Bang and now there are many galaxies, stars, planets, Earth and life, the time that passed between all these events.
According to science, time began with the Big Bang. Before that there was no time because there was no universe.
According to Einstein, time is the fourth dimension of the universe.
: The remaining three dimensions belong to Mecca. If you want to meet someone, tell them the place and time. If any one of them is missing, you will not be able to meet that person.
The speed of time is changed by the motion of objects. Time on a fast moving object will seem to pass slowly to an outside observer. Gravity also changes the speed of time. Objects with more mass have more gravity. Time will pass at a different speed on Earth, different on the Moon, different on Jupiter and different on the Sun.
The more mass an object has, the slower time will pass around it. Near a black hole, time will pass so slowly that an outside observer may not even notice the passage of time.
Since ancient times, man has invented many ways to measure time. The movement of the sun, the waxing and waning of the moon, the changing of the stars in the sky, etc. Then humans made clocks for time. Simple sand clocks, water powered clocks.
Then came the new age, today humans measure time with atomic clocks. Time is best measured by using the phenomenon of atoms moving from one state to another.
Since we know that the speed of time is changed by gravity, the farther you go from the surface of the earth, say at Mount Everest, the time will pass at a different speed (it will pass faster, but it will be very slight acceleration that you will not even notice). will be able to) relative to the surface of the earth. Because the effect of gravity decreases with height above the ground
Some time ago, scientists measured time at different speeds with a height difference of just one millimeter. This feat was done by a very sensitive atomic clock which was made by American scientists.
From this relationship of time and gravity, we can learn many secrets of the universe, for example, about the gravitational waves created by the merger of two black holes or two stars or any other phenomena of nature.
But stop atomic clock and with this measurement of time, we can also improve the GPS system because these GPS satellites orbiting the earth in space, the time will pass faster on them than on the surface of the earth. That they are under the influence of Earth's gravity, but there this influence is weak.
: So when the GPS satellite sends its local time to your mobile phone, it takes care to reduce the time that the time on the satellite is passing faster than your time.
In this way, your mobile detects your distance from the satellite and if three or more satellites send you such signals at the same time, then by simple principles of geometry, your mobile tells your location on earth. Pray to Einstein that his theory works to lead the way.
: Why does time go in one direction ie from the past to the present and from the present to the future? This is also a mystery. Today we see that everything in the universe goes from order to disorder. In the beginning, the universe was dirty, now it is scattered by the Big Bang to form galaxies and stars. The universe is expanding, becoming random. This order of disorder is called Entropy in the world of science. Entropy of the universe is increasing. Time also follows entropy in a direction. Mix the colors in a glass of water again by swirling the spoon in an inverted circle so that the colors do not separate. It is disorder by order. Colors faded. This is the entropy of the system. That is the direction of the flow of time. Can't turn back time.
: Will we ever fully understand time? Will we be able to control time? Only time will give the answer. Only time will tell. What we currently know is that time is a mysterious property of this universe.
Time is a fundamental concept that pervades our understanding of the universe. It is a measure of the progressive a dimension in which we organize and perceive the sequence of occurrences. Time can be seen as a continuous flow, marked by past, present, and future, shaping our experiences and framing the unfolding of reality.
In physics, time is intricately linked with space in the fabric of spacetime, as described by Einstein's theory of relativity. This theory posits that time is not absolute but is relative to the observer's motion and gravitational field. The nature of time raises philosophical questions about its existence as an independent entity or merely a human construct for ordering our perceptions.
